Biography

Dr. Lee-Shing Chang is an Associate Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He received his MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and his fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Chang has an active clinic in diabetes and general endocrinology and attends on the inpatient diabetes and endocrinology consult services at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He teaches diabetes and endocrinology to medical students, residents, and fellows at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital, and he is also involved in teaching several diabetes CME courses. His research focuses on clinical effectiveness and implementation in type 2 diabetes and cardiometabolic disease. He is also a site co-investigator for several clinical trials in diabetes and cardiovascular risk reduction.
