Biography

Dr. Winn Chatham is Professor of Medicine and the Louis W Heck Clinical Scholar in Rheumatology in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at UAB. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University and his MD degree from Vanderbilt. After completing residency training in internal medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill he served for three years in the US Public Health Service then came to UAB to complete a fellowship in rheumatology. Since 1997 he has served as the Director of Rheumatology Clinical Services at UAB. From 1999-2010 he served as the Director of the UAB Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program, and currently serves as the Clinical Co-Director for the Musculoskeletal and Skin organ module in the UA School of Medicine.
