Biography

Elisabeth has over a decade of experience in direct patient care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her graduate degree in Nursing from Columbia University in New York, which is where her passion for treating asthma began. While working in a community health clinic in the Bronx, NY, she learned firsthand how this chronic disease impacts quality of life for so many children and adults. After returning to California, she spent the next 10 years working at a private Allergy and Asthma clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she managed complex patients with various respiratory, allergic and dermatologic diseases. Elisabeth joined AstraZeneca as a Medical Science Liaison in the Respiratory & Immunology division to help educate other clinicians to make data-driven decisions for their patients with the goal of optimizing patient outcomes and improving lives. She has a passion for helping others, and is inspired by the innovative treatments that are emerging for asthma and other respiratory conditions. Elisabeth is a Certified Asthma Educator, member of the AANP and actively participates in regional and national conferences, while supporting asthma and allergy education within her local community.
