Clinical Professor of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology, Dept. of Internal Medicine, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ. Howard M. Druce, MD, FACP, is a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and an internationally recognized expert in respiratory health. With more than three decades of experience spanning clinical practice, research, and medical education, Dr. Druce has dedicated his career to improving the understanding and treatment of conditions such as allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, and cold and flu illnesses. A highly regarded clinician and researcher, Dr. Druce has authored more than 95 scientific publications and contributed to national practice parameters through the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) and American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI). His work has helped advance clinical understanding of airway inflammation and its role in respiratory disease management. He has also served as a representative to the FDA Pulmonary-Allergy Drugs Advisory Committee and has lectured extensively to healthcare audiences worldwide. Dr. Druce earned degrees in physiology and medicine from the University of Oxford and the University of London and completed advanced fellowship training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the NIH/NIAID.
