Biography

Dr. Reid Gooch, MD, FAANS, is an Associate Professor and cerebrovascular neurosurgeon at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA specializing in the management of cerebrovascular disease. His practice focuses on the open and endovascular treatment of aneurysms, vascular malformations, cavernomas, stroke, intracranial and extracranial stenosis and IIH. He is a graduate of Albany Medical College where he also completed his neurosurgical residency and endovascular fellowship. Dr. Gooch joined Jefferson in 2017 and is an active member of the teaching faculty training neurosurgery residents and cerebrovascular fellows on a daily basis. He is also the Director of Neurosurgery at Jefferson Northeast and Founding Director of the Thrombectomy Program at Jefferson Northeast.
