Biography

Dr. Jake Goodman is a psychiatrist and founder of Goodman Psychiatry, a mental health clinic serving physicians and other high-achieving medical professionals in California, Florida, and New York. He completed residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami, where he trained in both medication management and lifestyle-based approaches to support long-term mental health. Dr. Goodman is also a nationally recognized mental health advocate, with over 2 million followers through evidence-based education on social media. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation, a nonprofit working to reduce stigma around mental health care for healthcare workers. His advocacy has included collaborations with the White House under Vice President Kamala Harris and national speaking engagements, including the American Psychiatric Association’s Annual Meeting. His work has been featured by ABC News, NBC, Forbes, and Men’s Health. Dr. Goodman is also the author of Psychiatry for Kids, an Amazon bestselling children’s book introducing kids to mental health and emotional well-being.
