Biography

Malika Gupta, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center Dr. Gupta started her career in allergy and immunology with research at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She then gained advanced training through a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She then served as clinical faculty member at the Mount Sinai Jaffe Food Allergy Institute in New York and at the University of Michigan, where she specialized in the care of patients with all varieties of allergic conditions but focusing primarily on food allergies. She then joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023 as Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Immunology where she directs the food immunotherapy program.
