Biography

Dr. Ihm is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with a subspecialty board certification in sports medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Washington and a sports fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is a physician at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and sees patient there and at The Center for Comprehensive Orthopaedic and Spine Care within the Northwestern Medicine system. He treats musculoskeletal disorders nonoperatively with an interest in spine disorders, tendinopathy, and osteoarthritis. He has presented on assessment and management of spine disorders locally and at national conferences, including at the annual meeting for the American College of Sports Medicine. He is the program director of the sports fellowship at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
