Biography

Dr. Ing was born in North Carolina. He graduated from Harvard with a concentration in biochemical sciences. He obtained both his medical degree and his master’s degree in public health at the University of North Carolina. He then completed both his residency in anesthesiology and his fellowship in pain management at UCLA in 2014, and stayed on as faculty. He is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management. Dr. Ing is the director of the UCLA chronic pain fellowship as well as the director of inpatient chronic pain service at the UCLA Ronald Reagan campus. He also has outpatient practices in Westwood and Santa Monica. Dr. Ing focuses on multimodal, interventional, and multidisciplinary therapies as alternatives to opioid therapy.
