Biography
Tara Iyer is a board-certified Family Medicine physician, a Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner (MSCP), and a board-certified Obesity Medicine specialist. She received her M.D. from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency with an obstetrics and women's health track at Saint Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Denver, Colorado. She then completed a two-year specialized women's health fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, focusing on menopause and midlife women’s health. While completing this fellowship, she also pursued specialized training in medical weight management and clinical nutrition. Dr. Iyer is currently the Medical Director of the Menopause and Midlife Clinic at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) in Boston, MA. She also practices as an obesity medicine physician at the Center for Weight Management and Wellness at BWH.
