Biography

Dr. Kathiresan is Medical Director of MGH's Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Center. Through collaborative work at the Framingham Heart Study and the Broad Institute of MIT/Harvard, he conducts research to identify the genetic basis of cardiovascular phenotypes including cardiac biomarkers, blood lipids, and early-onset myocardial infarction.
