Biography

Dr. Kupin attended Marquette University and received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee receiving the Ellison Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit Michigan. Dr. Kupin helped develop the emerging role of Transplant Nephrology in the field of Organ Transplantation. After being on staff at Henry Ford Hospital until 1999, Dr. Kupin assumed the role of Transplant Nephrologist at the Miami Transplant Institute within the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Kupin is committed to ongoing refinements in the delivery of medical education and serves on numerous medical school committees at the University. He has helped develop and teach the NextGen curriculum at the Miller School of Medicine and is an invited speaker and lectures at conferences Nationally and Internationally
