Biography

Jeff Lennox, MD, FIDSA is Senior Director and HIV Regional Medical Expert with Gilead US Medical Affairs and in this role, he leads medical education initiatives and research opportunities to drive impact and improve health outcomes in people living with HIV and people benefiting from HIV prevention. Dr. Lennox’s is an accomplished HIV focused researcher and clinician and is a Fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America. His most widely cited publications are in the fields of Antiretroviral Therapy, Infectious Complications of HIV and Genital Shedding of HIV. Dr. Lennox served on the Department of Health and Human Services Adult/Adolescent Antiretroviral Guidelines panel for 9 years, as an advisor for the Division of AIDS at NIAID, and on the NIH COVID Treatment Guidelines panel. In 2008 he was awarded the Clinician Educator of the Year Award from the HIV Medicine Association. Dr. Lennox is a Professor of Medicine Emeritus at Emory.
