Biography

Richard F. Lockey, M.D. is the Joy McCann Culverhouse Chair and Director of Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida and Chief of the Section of Allergy and Immunology at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. Dr. Lockey attended Temple University, completed a residency program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and received postgraduate training in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Michigan. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Lockey has published articles in various scientific journals, including New England Journal of Medicine and Journal of the American Medical Association. In addition, Dr. Lockey serves on the editorial board of Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He is a Past President and Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Chest Physicians.
