Biography

Dr. Martin has served as the vice chair of medicine at Northwestern for 22 years, recently stepping down and focusing on teaching and patient care. He initiated a primary care clerkship for students over 30 years ago and has provided longitudinal care for patients over 40 years. Other roles have included division chief of General Internal Medicine, interim chair of Family Medicine, program director for a primary care residency and an office preceptor for nurse practitioner students and medical students.
