Biography

Tracey McLaughlin, MD, MS has a BA from Stanford University, an MS in Public Health from UC Berkley, an MD from UC San Francisco, and an MS in Epidemiology from Stanford University. Dr. McLaughlin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Her career started with a fellowship at Stanford where she trained with Gerald Reaven, MD in the area of obesity, diabetes, and insulin resistance. Currently Dr. McLaughlin is Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford. She spends half of her time providing clinical care to patients with diabetes and half of her time leading clinical research in obesity, diabetes and metabolism.
