Dr. Mitrani is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. His main interests include catheter ablations for supraventricular tachycardias, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and ventricular tachycardia as well as implantations of pacemakers and defibrillators. His main research interests include transendocardial stem cells for cardiac repair, and improving techniques for catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation. He currently directs the clinical and academic mission of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at the University of Miami Hospital.
