Biography

Dr. R. Nalini graduated from Kilpauk Medical College, India, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the United States. She joined Baylor College of Medicine in 2005 and has served as a clinical educator, clinician and clinical researcher. She received the Fulbright and Jaworski Faculty Excellence Award in the "Teaching and Evaluation" category in 2010. She is the Course Director of the Medical students Fall II Block 8 Endocrine Module. She directs the US Guided Thyroid FNA clinic, the Diabetic Ketoacidosis clinic and a unique multi-disciplinary clinic dealing with endocrine complications in pregnancy at Ben Taub General Hospital.
