Biography

Dr. Dean C. Norman completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowships in infectious diseases and geriatric medicine. He continues to publish in the field of infections that occur in older persons. He served as Chief of Staff of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System for 23 years and retired in January 2016. He has extensive experience in patient care, academic medicine and administration and currently is the Board President of the nonprofit Asian Pacific Healthcare Venture, the Chief Medical Officer for a telemedicine software startup company and works as a geriatrician.
