Biography

Dr. Peter Phung is a board-certified hospice and palliative care physician who provides inpatient care at UCLA Health. He specializes in providing personalized, family-centered care to patients with serious illness. He currently is the Assistant Director of the Palliative Care Program at UCLA Health. Dr. Phung’s research interest is in improving end of life care through system level change and thus co-founded the 3 Wishes Project at UCLA, a program that humanizes and personalizes the dying experience by fulfilling a patient’s final wishes.
