Biography

Associate Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Chicago, IL Dr. Rado is board certified in both internal medicine and psychiatry and has over 20 years experience practicing integrated psychiatry and internal medicine in primary care settings. In 2016, he designed and implemented the first collaborative care program at Northwestern to provide comprehensive depression and anxiety treatment within a primary care setting. His most recent role at Northwestern is director of the department’s Clinical Trials Research Program, where he leads studies of novel pharmaceutical compounds and neuromodulation approaches for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depression. He has lectured extensively on a variety of topics to primary care providers. At Northwestern he provides primary care to patients with serious mental illness and cardiometabolic derangements.
