Biography

Dr. Reiter is the Bing Professor of Urology, Director of Urologic Research, Director of Genitourinary Oncology in the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC), Director of the Prostate Cancer Program in the Department of Urology and the Institute of Urologic Oncology, Assistant Dean of Bio-entrepreneurship in the David Geffen School of Medicine, and a Member of the Molecular Biology Institute. He is the PI of the UCLA SPORE in Prostate Cancer, and Leader of Project 1. Dr. Reiter is an internationally recognized leader in prostate cancer. His research focuses on the identification and clinical translation of novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets in prostate cancer, such as PSCA and N-cadherin, as well as the use of molecular and anatomic imaging to guide management of prostate cancer. He has been consistently funded by the NCI, DOD, ACS and others throughout his career.
