Biography

Malcolm K. Robinson, MD is Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and is the Associate Chair of the Department of Surgery for Clinical Operations at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) in Boston. He also Director of the Nutrition Support Service at BWH. Dr. Robinson received his college degree from Harvard University and medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his surgical residency and advanced fellowships in nutrition and general surgery at BWH. He is the author of numerous scholarly publications and Editor-in-Chief of the textbook Scientific American: Nutrition. Dr. Robinson serves on several national committees, he is an editorial board member of Obesity Surgery, and routinely lectures nationally on topics of nutrition and critical care, and bariatric surgery.
