Biography

Dr. Rondina is an Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the University of Utah Healthcare Thrombosis Service. He is a principal investigator for NIH-funded translational studies investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying thrombotic and inflammatory disorders and has also led clinical trials for the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism. In addition, Dr. Rondina has served on NIH study sections, mentored trainees from Utah, Germany, and Brazil, and served as referee for journals such as the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
