Biography

Dr. Elaine Rosen is a native of Houston, Texas, and a graduate of Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at UCLA. Dr. Rosen served as a general pediatrician for 15 years. She then left her practice to develop a multidisciplinary community-based program for overweight and eating disorders in children and adolescents. In 2017 she joined the faculty at UCLA, Department of Pediatrics and Division of Adolescent Medicine, to develop both an outpatient program for eating disorders as well as an inpatient medical stabilization program at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital. These programs serve ages 6 to 26.
