Biography

Dr. Samson hails from Canada where she did the majority of her clinical training until her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. She runs a basic research lab which investigates the role of incretin therapies for fatty liver as well as beta cell regeneration in animal models of obesity and diabetes. She also is involved in translational studies to understand the effects of these therapies in humans.
