Dr Sharp is a psychiatrist and neuropsychiatrist specializing in the integrated psychotherapy and psychopharmacolologic treatment of attention deficit, mood, anxiety and addiction disorders in adolescents and adults. Dr. Sharp is renowned nationally for synthesizing and translating complex scientific data into individualized, evidenced-based messages. He writes and lectures widely on his specialty and serves as an expert regarding professional competence and the standard of psychiatric care. He is author of The Emotional Calendar, a critically acclaimed book recently published by Henry Holt & Co./Times Books. Dr. Sharp has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and The Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine. He is a recipient of the A.P.A.’s Nancy C.A. Roeske Award for Excellence in Medical Education.
