Biography

Executive Director GI Alliance and the Illinois Gastroenterology Group Dr. Rogelio Silva trained in internal medicine at the University of Illinois/Advocate Christ Medical Center and did subspecialty training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics with advanced training in Interventional Gastroenterology, Endoscopic Ultrasonography and pancreat-o-biliary disorders. He currently practices at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Palos Community Hospital and Little Company of Mary Hospital. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and teaches the medical students and internal medicine residents at Advocate Christ Medical Center. He is also one of the executive directors of GI Alliance and the Illinois gastroenterology group.
