Biography

Dr. Singh is a psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Biological Chemistry and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from George Washington University, where he also completed his residency. After serving as Chief Administrative Psychiatric Resident at Fairfax Hospital, Dr. Singh founded Tysons Psychiatry in 2008. He currently serves as its Medical Director and he also advises TMS NeuroHealth Centers. He is also the Director of Specialized Programs for Advantage Healthcare Systems. Dr. Singh lectures nationally on topics such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and psychopharmacology, and holds faculty appointments at George Washington University and Virginia Commonwealth University. Recognized as a “Top Doc” by Washingtonian Magazine and a eight-time Patient’s Choice Award winner, he is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association and contributes to community and philanthropic efforts.
