Biography

Dr. David P. Skoner M.D. is Professor of Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine and Chief, Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and Vice Chair, Clinical Research, Department of Pediatrics at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Skoner attended Temple University, completed a residency program at University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children's Hospital and received postgraduate training in Pediatric Allergy at University of Pittsburgh/Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Skoner is board certified in the areas of Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Skoner has been published in various scientific journals, including Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. In addition, Dr. Skoner serves on the editorial board of Current Opinion in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Skoner is also a Fellow of American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
