My interest in HIV prevention is rooted in an epidemiology and public health perspective. During my work in COVID-19, I saw firsthand how education gaps, barriers to access, and structural health disparities directly shaped patient outcomes. That experience reinforced the importance of prevention strategies that are not only scientifically sound, but also equitably delivered to the populations most affected.
