Biography

Dr. Jennifer Strople received her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and completed her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. During her fellowship, she also earned a master of science degree in epidemiology and biostatistics. Dr. Strople is the Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is an active member of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She is committed to improving care of pediatric patients with inflammatory bowel disease and is actively involved in ImproveCareNow. She has a strong interest in education, and is involved with teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents and fellows and currently serves as a college mentor for the Feinberg School of Medicine.
