Biography

Katherine Tynus, MD attended Northwestern University for her undergraduate studies and University of Illinois College of Medicine for medical school. She completed internal medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Following a chief resident year, Dr. Tynus joined MacNeal Hospital as an Assistant Academic Director of Internal; Medicine. Currently, her appointments include Program Director of Transitional Year Residency at MacNeal Hospital, Academic Director of Internal Medicine at MacNeal Hospital and Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Loyola University. Dr. Tynus serves on the ABIM test writing committee and is active in the Chicago Medical Society, serving as Vice-Chair of the Council.
