Biography

Dr. Wenner is a practicing physician and software design consultant for Primetime Medical Software, Inc. He has practiced for 26 years in both a small family practice and a large group setting. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of South Carolina for 19 years. As a speaker, writer, and teacher, Dr. Wenner has explored many areas of healthcare information technology, from EMRs to patient-doctor e-mail to computerized patient interviewing systems. He has taught thousands of physicians how they can enhance productivity, improve patient education, and streamline practice information management. He's often quoted in both the lay and medical press. Dr. Wenner received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina and did a residency in family medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
