Biography

Dr. Wertheimer, Harvard Medical School Course Development Committee member, is Chair of Family Medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance and on the Faculty of Harvard Medical School. She is a physician member of the Board of Registration of Medicine in Massachusetts. She has been an active clinician and teacher of medical students and residents for the last 25 years. She has been recognized regionally and nationally for her advocacy for Primary Care and her commitment to expanding access to health care for underserved populations.
