Biography

Jennifer Whitaker, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Molecular Virology and Microbiology and Medicine/Infectious Diseases. She received her M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine, completed internal residency, infectious diseases fellowship, and a Master of Science in clinical research at Emory University School of Medicine. Her clinical practice consists of general infectious diseases, infectious diseases in immunocompromised persons, and HIV primary care. Her research focus is the conduct of clinical trials, including COVID-19 treatment, phase 1/2/3 COVID-19 vaccine, and influenza vaccine clinical trials.
