Biography

Dr. Yeganeh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Disease at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She obtained a medical degree at University of Washington School of Medicine, a masters of public health at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and has been at UCLA since 2005, completing her training in pediatrics and infectious diseases. Her current research focuses on preventing transmission of HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B/C to infants through the implementation of TRIPAI, an initiative focused on offering rapid testing for sexually transmitted infections to partners of pregnant women. She is also the founder of the UCLA International Travel and Adoption clinic, offering specialized counseling to pediatric patients and their families since 2012.
