Biography

Dr. Zaenglein is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. After earning her medical degree at the Penn State University College of Medicine, Dr. Zaenglein completed her internship in internal medicine at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. She then completed her residency in dermatology at the MCP Hahnemann University Hospitals in Philadelphia, before being accepted into the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at New York University Hospital in New York City. In her academic career, Dr. Zaenglein has overseen numerous clinical trials in children and young adults. Her particular areas of research interest are acne and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Zaenglein is involved with a number of professional organizations, including the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology. She currently serves as Associate Editor of the journal, Pediatric Dermatology and is Secretary of the American Acne and Rosacea Society.
