Things to Do in Providence
While in Providence for the CME/CE conference, explore the city’s walkable downtown, waterfront views, and creative atmosphere. Stroll along the Riverwalk, browse shops and cafés on Federal Hill, or visit nearby parks and coastal areas. If time allows, take a short trip to Boston to experience its historic neighborhoods and waterfront. Boston is easily accessible, with frequent service on the MBTA Commuter Rail (about 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes) and Amtrak Northeast Regional (as fast as 35–45 minutes), along with convenient driving options.
Must-Visit Attractions
While clinicians are in Providence for Pri-Med's CME/CE conference, WaterFire Providence offers a unique nighttime experience with fire installations along the river. The RISD Museum features an impressive collection of fine art and design. For an excursion, Boston’s Freedom Trail provides a walk through key sites from the American Revolution.
Food and Culture
Providence’s food scene reflects its strong Italian heritage and coastal location. Our Commitment

Our Code of Conduct sets out clear guidelines for everyone in our community to follow to ensure we are all held to fair and equitable standards. With that in mind we require the following:

All communications and behavior at Pri-Med East should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds.
Be kind and courteous to others. Don’t insult or disparage attendees, exhibitors, speakers, or staff.
Behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
If participants are found in violation of these requirements they may be asked to leave the Event without a refund at the sole discretion of Pri-Med.
Your support is needed to help us enforce these rules and we invite you to let us know if you experience or witness any problematic behavior by contacting any onsite member of organizer’s staff who will ensure the matter is addressed. You may also email support@pri-med.com with any concerns you have.
You can earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ or AANP contact hours of continuing education or Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing contact hours of continuing education. AANP pharmacology credits will be awarded based on the pharmacology content of the courses you attend. Pri-Med also works with the AAFP to determine Live AAFP Prescribed credits.
Coffee is provided each morning outside the session rooms and water stations are located throughout the venue. Food options include a limited number of boxed lunches provided by Pri-Med at the Industry Theaters and additional concessions offered for purchase by the venue.
The early-bird registration rate is $129. After the early-bird deadline on Friday, June 19, 2026, the registration rate will increase to $165. Medical students and residents are welcome to register at no cost, but CME/CE credits will not be awarded to these registrations.
Industry Theater tickets can be added to your existing registration beginning approximately five weeks before the conference. Once on-site at the conference, limited tickets will be available at the Information Booth or at the sponsoring exhibitor's booth in the Exhibit Hall. Additionally, all Industry Theaters have a stand-by line for those without tickets.
So that we can provide all Pri-Med attendees with the optimal learning environments, children over the age of two are not permitted at the conference. Accommodations will be made for new mothers.
