Overview

With so many sources of information, how can we best use journals to answer clinical questions effectively? In this session, we will use Vitamin K use to prevent Vitamin K Bleeding Disorder (VKBD) as an example of how to find journal data and quickly assess its reliability. Lessons learned from the VKBD can be used in other clinical scenarios, providing participants with skills to use for their own clinical issues.

  • Understand the significance of Vitamin K Bleeding Disorder (VKBD) in the newborn period
