Overview

Alcohol use disorder (AUD) is a prevalent and debilitating chronic condition seen in primary care settings. Identifying and managing AUD remains challenging for busy PCPs. Fortunately, AUD can be identified and treated, leading to better outcomes for patients’ physical and mental health. This talk will cover screening, diagnosis, and treatment of AUD including medications, harm reduction, and psychosocial treatments
