Overview

The incidence of medical errors continues to impact patient safety. This presentation will address one of the most common causes for medical errors—misdiagnosis. Faculty will review common etiologies of misdiagnosis related to several therapeutic areas. Clinicians will understand the reasons for these errors and learn effective preventive strategies. Additionally, they will learn techniques for adverse event disclosure.
