Structural Competency: Medicine for the Inequalities that are Making us Sick

Overview

This keynote address will introduce structural competency, an approach that clinical practitioners can take to addressing the community, institution and policy level determinants of inequalities in patients' health outcomes as a part of their clinical care, and through cross-disciplinary collaboration.
