Overview

The neurological physical exam can be your best diagnostic tool. During this course, you will hone your physical exam by applying focused skills to evaluate common neurological chief complaints. There will be an opportunity for hands-on skills practice and open Q&A.

Learning Objectives

• Perform a full neurologic exam, including assessment of mental status, cranial nerves, motor, sensory, reflexes, coordination, and gait
• Apply a focused neurologic exam to common chief complaints, identifying abnormal findings and key signs of neurologic diagnoses
• Recognize red flag findings that warrant further investigation or referral to specialists
