What is pmiCME?
pmiCME is the accreditation division of DBC Pri-Med, LLC. pmiCME was introduced with the mission to provide clinically relevant educational activities for clinicians that will advance healthcare practice and the outcomes of care for patients. pmiCME is committed to providing superior quality continuing education that is evidence-based, and clinical management strategies that are innovative in design and that motivate physicians to adopt appropriate, up-to-date clinical practices.
What is a Pri-Med account? What are the benefits of having a Pri-Med account?
A Pri-Med account is an account that allows you to log in to Pri-Med's online community, take online activities, and register for medical conferences. Your Pri-Med account will also give you access to the CME tracker, which is an online record of your CME credits from Pri-Med and elsewhere.
Why are you asking for my email address?
We are requiring your email address for a few important reasons: 1) Your email address will serve as a secure log-in for your Pri-Med account. 2) Certificates will only be available electronically accessed through your account. 3) Email is the quickest way to stay informed about upcoming CME opportunities, including information on the ones you've registered for.

How do I stop receiving communications from Pri-Med?

What do I do if I have a question, suggestion, or comment about Pri-Med.com?
Send a note to email@example.com. All questions, suggestions, and comments will be logged and the resolutions tracked so we can continuously improve the product.
What does NPI stand for? Why do you require an NPI number to register for a Medical Conference?
NPI stand for National Provider Identifier. Unlike email addresses, NPI numbers are unique and do not change. They are required by HIPPA for almost all medically related information or financial transactions, including prescribing and referrals; it therfore helps us to be sure that all of our attendees are active participants in healthcare delivery. Our grant supporters and trade show partners also need NPI numbers for their reporting under the Sunshine Act. We have therefore decided that an accurate NPI number is a minumum requirement for participation at a Pri-Med live program.
How do I change my username, password, email, or contact info?
Login to your account and click on your "My Account" link on the upper right hand side. In this area you will be able to update all of your Pri-Med account information.
Is there registration fee?
Annual Conference and Regional Conference fees vary. Please visit the individual Medical Conference website for specific fee information. These registration fees have been implemented to allow us to make the investment in bringing nationally recognized faculty and relevant topics to the local medical community, while providing a high quality onsite experience.
Cardiology Updates and Southern Diabetes Initiative programs have complimentary registration.
What is the registration fee for students and residents?
Students and residents able to register for the Annual Conferences only, free of charge. They will not receive credit registering as a student or resident.
What are Ticketed Events? What is the ticketing policy?
Ticketed Events include additional learning opportunities, such as a CME Symposium or non-CME Presentation Theater. Annual Conference tickets will be available for pre-conference online, 4 weeks before the program. Regional Conference tickets will all be distributed onsite, each day of the program. Ticket distrobution is on a first-come, first-served basis for all medical conferences.
How do I receive CME credit for attending?
You must be present at the program to receive credit. The process to check in onsite varies by program. Instructions on how to check-in will be provided in advance of the program, as well as onsite. Upon attending a medical conference you may complete the credit request process through Pri-Med's online system. Your credit certificate will be available for you to download and print immediately, and will be available in your Pri-Med account within 24 hours.
Can I receive a refund if I cancel or am unable to attend?
We cannot issue a refund for the registration processing fee however you may transfer your registration to another colleague or use the registration for the following year.
How to do I access the syllabus slides?
Printer-friendly syllabus slides will be available to download and print before each of our Medical Conferences. Most session slides will be available, though some may not be posted until one business day prior, as our faculty members often refine their presentations right up until the program to ensure they are sharing the most current and relevant information. Some session slides are not available due to the nature of the presentation or copyright concerns.
Pre-printed syllabus books are available for purchase for Annual Conferences only, these do not include the Primary Care Updates preconference session slides. You may add this to your itinerary during the registration process or update your registration at any point prior to the conference in the Registration Resource Center (RRC). Annual Conference syllabi cost $20. A limited number of printed syllabus books will be avialable for purchase onsite on a first-come, first-served basis.
Will breakfast/lunch be served?
Complimentary breakfast and lunch are provided on Primary Care Updates preconference day. The reamining days of the program, meals are only provided during the Ticketed Events for ticket-holders. Coffee will be provided prior to the Keynote Addresses and on the Exhibit Hall floor at given points throughout the conference.
Regional Conferences, Cardiology Updates, and Southern Diabetes Initiative Programs
Complimentary light breakfast and boxed lunch are provided for all attendees each day of the program. Coffee will be served with breakfast and during the afternoon break.
Meals are provided by DBC Pri-Med, LLC the event organizer.
Are you able to make special accomodations available for dietary restriction, special needs, or new mothers?
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, pmiCME seeks to make these conferences accessible to all. If you have a need that might require special accommodations, please call (877) 477-4633 or email firstname.lastname@example.org three weeks prior to the meeting.
We offer a new mother’s space onsite at our Annual Conferences. Please consult your onsite guide when you arrive or ask a Pri-Med Staff Member to assist you.
There are vegetarian meal options whenever meals are provided. We are also able to accomodate additional dietary restrictions. If you register online, you can update your dietary requests in the Registration Resource Center (RRC). If you register by phone please be sure to communicate your dietary requirements to the Customer Service Representative. Once onsite, please be sure to let a Pri-Med staff member know at the meal so they can coordinate with the catering staff.
Can I bring my children?
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed on the Exhibit Floor or in session rooms because of safety concerns. In addition, the seats in the session are reserved for healthcare professionals.
Can I bring a guest or chaperone to the program?
Guests or chaperones that are there to assist hearing imparied attendees, visually impaired attendees, or attendees that need help with walking or with their wheelchair are allowed.
Other guests are not permitted as seats are reserved for practicing healthcare providers.
Will there be more content added to Pri-Med.com?
Yes. Content is added regularly in 70 topic areas.
Can I keep track of the CME credits I earn using Pri-Med.com?
One of the key tools available online is the CME Tracker. It automatically tracks your credits earned at Pri-Med Online and offers immediate, anytime download and printing of certificates. It also provides copies of certificates earned at live Pri-Med programs. Plus you can manually add credits to the CME Tracker earned at other programs, allowing you to maintain an online records of all your CME credits.
