Biography

Dr. Forrow is a Faculty Associate at the Harvard University Program in Ethics and the Professions having primary responsibility providing medical ethics curricula at HMS. He has been active for more than twenty years in the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), which was honored in 1985 with the Nobel Peace Prize. Currently, he serves as the organization's Parliamentarian and helps lead the organization's Abolition 2000 Campaign which seeks, in collaboration with over 2000 other non-governmental organizations in 93 nations worldwide, a signed global agreement committing the world to the permanent, verifiable, and enforceable elimination of nuclear weapons according to a specified timetable.
