Biography

Dr. Goroll is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Physician in the Medical Service at MGH. He also serves on the Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine, and has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors ACP-ASIM and appointed Vice-Chair of its Education Committee. Well known as the editor/author of the standard text, Primary Care Medicine, Dr. Goroll is also the Immediate Past Governor of the Massachusetts ACP, Chair Emeritus of the MA eHealth Collaborative, and Past President of the Massachusetts Medical Society, where he led the effort to craft the managed care legislation that was recently passed into law.
