Biography

Jennifer Hays, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Center for Women's Health at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Hays is one of the principal investigators of the Women's Health Initiative (WHI), the landmark study of women's health after menopause, serving on the executive committee from 1999 to 2001. She received her doctorate in developmental psychology from the University of Houston. For the past 20 years she has conducted basic research on the relationship between behavior and health and the development of interventions to improve women's health.
