Timothy J. Scialla, MD

Dr. Scialla received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine is 2003. He then joined the Osler Training Program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital as an intern in 2003 and completed his residency training in 2006. He was an Assistant Chief of Service for the Osler Residency Program from July 2007 through June 2008. Subsequently, he completed his fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins 2011. He joined the faculty at the University of Miami School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care in 2011. While in Miami, he was the director of the University of Miami Hospital Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. He joined the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine in 2014. He is the Medical Director of Duke Asthma, Allergy, and Airway Center. He also currently participates as an on-site principle investigator for both NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials in both asthma and COPD.
