Biography

His primary research focus has been in the area of injury prevention in athletes. He serves as the chair of the Osteoarthritis Action Alliance Injury Prevention Working Group. He was elected chair of the OA Action Alliance. He was lead author on the AMSSM consensus statement on Viscosupplementation and Knee Arthritis. He has been a national and international speaker on knee osteoarthritis. He has participated on many arthritis education panels. Recently lecturing at the International Society for Intra-Articular Therapy meeting in Prague in October of 2017. An invited participant of the National Caucus on Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Disparities. He is a respect authority in the area of knee osteoarthritis.
